Microsoft Word Product Update Announcement

Bankpolicies.com is proud to announce that on March 1, 2010 we will be upgrading our products to Microsoft Word 2007 (.docx file extension) to accommodate any newer versions of the program that may be released in the future. On March 1, 2010, orders will be delivered using products containing the revised document file extension.

Currently, our products are formatted using Microsoft Word 97-03 (.doc file extension) to ensure compatibility for clients using either Microsoft Word 1997-2003 or 2007. Going forward, our products will still maintain this compatibility for either version of the software. However, some clients using Microsoft Word 1997-2003 may be prompted by their software program to download the following compatibility pack available for free from Microsoft:

If required, we recommend that you consult with your IT professional for further assistance.

In addition to containing the revised document file extension, we will be making the following enhancements to our policy and job description template products:

· The name of the financial institution and document title (i.e., Bank Secrecy Act Policy or Bank Secrecy Act Officer) will be displayed within a single header at the top of each page, while the single footer will display only the page number and total number of pages at the bottom of each page.

· The file sizes of the documents will be considerably smaller. Using the Bank Secrecy Act Policy Template as an example, what used to be approximately a 1.5MB file will now be approximately 500KB in size, thus enabling faster download times for our clients.
