Regulation I Policy
This Regulation I Policy addresses how a bank, credit union or other type of financial institution adheres to Regulation I – “Disclosure Requirements for Depository Institutions Lacking Federal Deposit Insurance” to ensure the proper disclosure of certain insurance related information in periodic statements, account records, locations where deposits are normally received, and advertising, and that the financial institution obtain a written acknowledgment from depositors regarding the financial institution’s lack of federal deposit insurance.
