Product Updates November 2026
The Product Updates for November 2026 from BankPolicies.com feature the following revised policy and form template products:
Artificial Intelligence Policy Template
The update to this product is in response to Financial Stability Board’s “Sound Practices for Responsible Adoption of Artificial Intelligence” dated 10/15/26 that finalized a list of 12 sound practices to guide the adoption of artificial intelligence by banks and other financial institutions. The practices are meant to serve as a practical toolkit that financial institutions can tailor to their specific context and risk profile and integrate into existing frameworks, including those for cyber and third-party risk.
BSA Suspicious Activity Report Notices Template
The update to this product is in response to FinCEN Alert FIN-2026-Alert008 entitled “FinCEN Alert to Counter Iranian Abuse of Religious Charity Networks” dated 10/15/26 to assist financial institutions in identifying and reporting potential Iranian abuse of religious charity networks, including diversion of religious tithes or khums. This alert supports Treasury’s efforts as part of Operation Economic Outcast targeting the Iran and its financial enablers, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Marketing Plan and Program Policy Template
The update to these products is in response to the FCC Final Rule entitled “Enhancing the Ability of Consumers to Control the Robocalls” dated 10/26/26 that modifies rules to ensure that consumers can revoke consent for robocalls they no longer wish to receive while continuing to receive those they still want. In addition, the FCC modernize its rules to ensure that consumers have clear, simple, and automated ways to revoke consent while streamlining callers’ ability to process revocations. Specifically, the FCC allows callers to interpret a revocation request as applying only to the specific category of informational robocalls to which the revocation was directed, allows callers to designate an exclusive means to revoke consent, and amend the exemption from the consent requirement for financial institutions to allow them to more easily alert customers to fraudulent activity on their account. Finally, the FCC delegates authority to the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (CGB) in consultation with the Enforcement Bureau (EB) to review its robocall rules to ensure that those rules are clear and easy to read. The effective date is November 25, 2026.
